User Experience

User Research

User research is critical to understanding the expectations, goals, and motivations of your users. As an integral part of the NavigationArts’ user-centered design process, user research allows us to evaluate Web site usability.

In every project, we configure the approach to the client's specific needs using a variety of analytical tools, including card sorts, online surveys, focus groups, monitored site usage to evaluate time-to-task, or in-depth heuristic assessments. NavigationArts’ user research practice supports all our project engagements and is also offered as a stand-alone service for investigation, assessments, and independent testing.

Services include:

  • Site observation, testing, and analysis to determine existing roadblocks to performance

Methodologies include:

  • Web site usability testing, individual user interviews, focus groups, user surveys, contextual interviews, task analysis, and card sort exercises
