NavigationArts is sponsoring The National Museum of Women in the Arts' Spring Gala.

When

April 15th, 6:30 PM

Where

National Museum of Women in the Arts
1250 New York Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20005

What

The National Museum of Women in the Arts has chosen NavigationArts to redesign their online presence.  In support of NMWA, the architects and designers behind the forthcoming refreshed site will attend the annual black-tie affair in the museum's historic building on New York Avenue, and gain an even better understanding into the rich culture NWMA has been building over the last 30 years.

The Spring Gala begins with cocktails and a silent auction in the museum’s galleries followed by dinner and dancing to the music of The Michael Carney Orchestra in the elegant Great Hall. Honored guest for the evening is Tiffany & Co. designer Paloma Picasso. A unique presentation of her works will be on display in the Teresa Lozano Long Gallery. Additionally, this year’s event will highlight the featured exhibition Eye Wonder: Photography from the Bank of America Collection. This renowned collection of international art features a veritable Who’s Who among historical and contemporary women photographers.

The Spring Gala is the museum’s largest and most important annual fundraising event. Proceeds from the event support the exhibitions, activities and projects that make the NMWA the leading museum solely dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women in the visual, performing and literary arts.
