CityBridge Foundation Launches Refreshed Website

Washington, DC — June 22nd, 2011

NavigationArts, a strategic web consultancy, is proud to announce the launch of a refreshed website for CityBridge Foundation. CityBridge Foundation works to build and sustain a great system of schools in the nation’s capital. To do this, they create, incubate, and invest in the most promising practices in public education. The Foundation recognized the importance of its website to engage, inspire, and collaborate, and thus turned to NavigationArts for guidance. NavigationArts offered its services pro bono.

NavigationArts redesigned CityBridge Foundation’s website to reflect the non-profit’s brand identity online, enhance the user experience, and better serve the organization’s evolving mission statement. NavigationArts leveraged their expertise in user experience design, brand strategy, and content management to develop a web presence that met CityBridge Foundation’s shifting needs.

Caitlin Moore, Chief of Staff to the Executive Director and website redesign Project Director, commented on the way in which NavigationArts guided the Foundation through the project: “NavigationArts helped us redefine the brand we wanted to convey to our users and really pushed us to step out of our comfort zone to meet the needs of emerging technologies. The results were fantastic and we are thrilled to share our new website with our friends and colleagues.”

NavigationArts deployed the Sitecore Content Management System, which provided the most intuitive platform for the organization so that they are empowered to maintain and update the website in the future.

“It was a pleasure and a privilege to work with the staff at the CityBridge Foundation,” stated Debra Martin, project manager and information architect at NavigationArts. “Through collaboration, we not only clarified an emerging mission statement and identified key audience needs, but we also worked closely together to meet those key priorities through internal workshops, insightful user research, targeted brand design, and effective content management. I’m proud to have been a part of such a relevant pro bono effort.”
