NACHRI Launches New Website, Designed by NavigationArts
McLean, Virginia — September 25th, 2009
NavigationArts is pleased to announce that the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) recently launched a new website, designed by the firm. NavigationArts helped NACHRI align their website with strategic goals, implement new branding and messaging, and improve the site’s organization and usability. The new site attracts and engages NACHRI’s members with content focused on their needs.
Before the website was redesigned, it was perceived by some to be a secondary channel. In order to provide content and services aligned with member goals, a significant component of the project was devoted to user research. Through one-on-one interviews, online card sort activities, and an online survey, NavigationArts was able to determine the needs and goals of NACHRI’s key audience, its members, and also secondary audiences like Congressional staff and the media.
By tailoring the site to these users, and leveraging contemporary web technologies, NACHRI transformed its website into a dynamic web channel, one that is the main point of interaction with member constituents. The new site makes it a lot easier to find out about NACHRI’s events and initiatives, to understand its mission and focus, and to learn about policy updates.
The new site design uses bright colors and bold visual cues to direct audiences to the content they’re seeking. Photography and real life stories bring the organization’s mission to life.
NavigationArts and the NACHRI team created an engaging and appealing user experience that serves NACHRI’s mission to ensure that all of America’s 70 million children have access to health care and children’s hospitals continue to serve children’s needs. “NavigationArts is pleased to support the important work underway at NACHRI by creating a robust and dynamic website,” said Leo Mullen, NavigationArts’ CEO.
