Discovery Education to Launch Science Education Product by NavigationArts

NavigationArts, a leading user experience design consultancy, today announced that Discovery Communications has selected the company to provide user experience design services in support of a new online science education effort. Discovery Education Science Connection is targeted toward middle school students and will deliver educational materials in physical science, earth and life science and space science.

NavigationArts is providing information architecture and interface design services to optimize the site’s features, content, and navigation.

“We are very excited to be working with Discovery Education on this new product offering,” said NavigationArts’ CEO Leo Mullen. “Discovery is a leader in providing online services, and we think our best-practices approach to user experience design makes us a good partner for them.”

Design and development will begin immediately and continue through a launch in the fall of 2006.
