Project Manager/Senior Consultant

NavigationArts is seeking a Project Manager, experienced managing and implementing comprehensive web strategies to meet key business objectives. The Project Manager will plan, direct and oversee medium to large-scale, complex projects for Fortune 500 companies that are either enterprise-wide and/or business-critical.
Responsibilities
- Manage implementation of new functionality and improvement projects
- Lead efforts for development of business requirements, business process redesign, measures of project success, change management, communications, and project reviews
- Simultaneously provide project management leadership for cross-discipline teams on multiple projects
- Lead team through entire project life-cycle
- Manage development of all project budgets and phasing schedules, and successfully implement to those budgets and schedules
- Manage external vendors on a day-to-day basis and develop/approve engagements and statements of work
- Act as end-user advocate and ensure balanced decisions are made that consider development and support costs, risk, end-user experience, ongoing maintainability and reliability, and internal client desires
Requirements
The successful Project Manager candidate will have an excellent academic and professional background, possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills. This individual must be well experienced in the processes and disciplines related to web strategy, interface design, information architecture and web development. Candidate must be proficient in standard business software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Specifically, the Project Manager should have:
- BA or BS degree
- 5-8 years’ experience in similar position or having equivalent kind of skills experience
- In-depth knowledge of internet technologies and ability to leverage technical capabilities to meet business requirements
- Strong interpersonal and meeting facilitation skills required to lead and manage all team members, internal and external clients, vendors and meetings
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
- Strong negotiating skills, with focus on win-win solutions
- Knowledge of Internet and e-business strategies
- Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner
- Ability to interact effectively with creative and technical team members and clients to achieve optimal solutions
- Proven and effective project management and business process redesign experience
