Inside Sales Representative
NavigationArts, a leading user experience design consultancy serving Fortune 2000 customers, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to help expand sales of the company’s services in internet strategy, usability, design, and technology. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for setting up appointments for company Sales Executives and prospective accounts. The critical mission of the ISR will be to conduct research to identify prospects and decision makers, then to contact those individuals with the goal of scheduling meeting and presentations. This position is a key member of the NavigationArts sales force.
Responsibilities
- Researching new opportunities and prospects using the Web and phone, and by mining appropriate databases
- Conducting lead generation and qualification for a defined geographic territory
- Following up via phone and email and fulfill requests for brochures and other materials
- Identifying buying influences (pain points) and multiple decision makers
- Inviting prospects to company seminars and events
- Entering gathered data into lead and opportunity tracking software
- Working closely with VP of Business Development and company Sales Executives in developing and managing these opportunities
- Maintaining a record of daily activities in company database tracking interactions with prospects and customers
- Providing daily / weekly updates to VP of Business Development on individual activity
This position requires 2-4 years of inside sales / business development / telesales experience, strong telephone and prospecting skills, an understanding of technology services, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a positive and confident attitude. You must be goal-oriented, highly confident, self-motivated, with outstanding people skills.
